I’m looking for software solutions for a new real estate portal and not sure what would be the best combination. I have looked at Open Realty, Joomla, PG Realty, Wordpress, and some others. I would like to support listings from USA and other countries.
Important features that I’m looking for.
1. Import xml data feed from third party data feed providers so that it becomes a one stop search for home buyers. It would also be good to have the capability to import mls/rets data if needed in future. example site: www.enormo.com
2. Export xml data – most sites that allow individuals to list property allow a free push out to partner sites for increased exposure.
Example site: www.fizber.com
Other features include: mls listing service, agent/business directory, blog, articles, news, and Q & A, others.
Please let me know if you can help, the software /scripts you would use, how the site will get xml data via http request, and cost & terms.
Also provide links to similar sites you have developed.
